Hi, my name is Finlay and I am a 4th year Engineering Science student at Exeter College, Oxford. In particular, I specialise in computational engineering. In the past, I have helped students through both the Cambridge and Oxford Engineering application processes (including personal statement, entrance exam and interview) as a tutor for The Clydeside Project, an access initiative for Scottish state school pupils. Due to the disconnect between the Scottish and English university systems, and the resulting knowledge gap, I am experienced in helping students build their Oxbridge application from scratch and in teaching new material for the entrance tests and interviews. I have also tutored A-level and Scottish Higher students in Physics, Computing, History and Mathematics, both teaching new content and reinforcing concepts towards A* level. I am incredibly excited to share my passion for the sciences as a member of the OTC’s fantastic tutoring team, and I look forward to meeting you.
